The intent of Rocky Mountain Guides' cancellation policy is to ensure the best experience for our guests by allowing us to plan. We know things happen and we will make every effort to work with our guests on rescheduling any courses or guided experiences if needed. Especially during the busy season we however cannot always guarantee this.

RMG will honor cancellations up to 48 hours prior to the start time of the guided experience or course. A $45 cancellation fee will be charged.

For cancellations within 48 hours or less of the planned start time of the guided experience or course no refunds can be given (we however will still try to reschedule the experience or course before cancelling). For cancellations that are outside of our or our guests' control - mainly due to weather or safety concerns - we will try to reschedule to a new date and/or time. If that is not possible a full refund will be given.

Please note that most of our guided experiences and courses happen rain or shine. Weather related cancellations are at RMG's discretion and we will only cancel if we deem the conditions unsafe. In many situations adjustments to the planned route - e.g. by using a different region - will allow us to still provide an excellent guest experience in a safe manner. If we deem it safe to provide the booked guided experience or course but our guests decide to cancel, no refunds can be given within 48 hours or less prior to the start time.
