You provide your bike (or rent locally), helmet, water, snacks, and appropriate clothing. Your guide handles all logistics—you focus on riding and enjoying Summit County's incredible trails.

Yes! For point-to-point rides like the Peaks Trail descent, we provide shuttle service to the top so you can enjoy the downhill without the climb. For rides like Wheeler/Colorado/Miners Loop, shuttles drop you at high-elevation trailheads. Shuttle-assisted rides let you maximize downhill fun and access terrain that would require exhausting climbs at altitude. Not all tours require shuttles—many routes are out-and-back or loops where you climb and descend the same trails.

During booking, we'll discuss your riding experience, fitness, and comfort level with technical features. We ask about the most difficult trails you've ridden, how you handle climbs, and whether you prefer flow trails or technical challenges. Your guide then selects trails that match your abilities while providing appropriate challenge and progression. We always have plan B options if the original route proves too easy or difficult.

Groups with significantly different fitness or skill levels are challenging for guided tours. For small fitness gaps, we adjust pace and take more breaks. For larger differences, we recommend splitting into separate tours (one group on easier terrain, another on harder trails) or booking private guiding where we can customize the experience perfectly. Private guides have flexibility to adjust routes mid-ride based on how everyone's feeling.

Half-Day Tours (3-4 hours): Sample Summit County trails without the full day commitment. Typically 8-15 miles with 800-1,500 feet of climbing. Perfect for testing altitude, trying new terrain, or fitting riding into a busy schedule.

Full-Day Tours (5-7 hours): Epic rides covering 20-30 miles and 2,000-4,000 feet of climbing (or big shuttle-accessed descents). For strong riders wanting to really explore Summit County's best terrain.
