Let’s go high! Summit County and surrounding areas offer a variety of technical climbing routes for the advanced climber. Routes are ranging from single pitch sport climbs to multi pitch climbs covering over 1,400 ft of vertical gain. Whether your goal is to just experience a technical climb in the stunning Colorado Rockies or progress with your rock climbing skills, Rocky Mountain Guides’ professional guides will have you covered.
Unique climbs such as the multiple pitch Royal Flush in the Ten Mile Range reward with stunning views over Summit County’s ski areas, the town of Frisco and the Dillon Reservoir. On your hike down after summiting you will pass historic mine sites and end the day in the historic town of Frisco.
Royal Flush is just one example of the advanced climbing routes in Summit County. With the variety of options, an epic day on the rock is guaranteed!

Equipment

  • Helmet, harness, ropes, and other belaying equipment will be provided by RMG
  • Sturdy shoes for the approach (closed toe shoes, please no flip flops or sandals)
  • Climbing shoes (to rent climbing shoes please select during checkout)
  • Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, sunblock
  • Clothing: athletic shirt, athletic shorts or pants, wind/rain jacket
  • Plenty of water
  • Snacks and/or lunch
