Want to get into rock climbing, boost your mountaineering skills or wanting to transition from indoor climbing to outdoor climbing? RMG’s professional guides will show you the ropes, literally. The intro to rock climbing class covers basic belay techniques including the use of ropes with and without belay devices, safe usage of equipment, basic climbing and rappelling techniques and more. This full day course is a hands on fun adventure aimed at individuals, couples/groups or the family.

Equipment
- Helmet, harness, ropes, and other belaying equipment will be provided by RMG
- Sturdy shoes for the approach (closed toe shoes, please no flip flops or sandals)
- Climbing shoes (to rent climbing shoes please select during checkout)
- Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, sunblock
- Clothing: athletic shirt, athletic shorts or pants, wind/rain jacket
- Plenty of water
- Snacks and/or lunch
